Construction and operation
The curtain wall is controlled by a cable along the top. Nylon cables are fixed along this cable, retracting the fabric smoothly. The tube in the fabric provides a counterweight, keeping the fabric taut at all times. The air intake is at the top, contributing to optimal barn ventilation.
The system is fully mounted to the existing structure.. We will require 15 cm at the top here.At the bottom, we require a wall with a height of 70% of the net opening. If the opening is 1 metre high, we will thus require a 70 cm wall at the bottom to which to secure the system.
The curtain wall may be operated using a winch or a motor.
Safe operation of our systems is extremely important to us. That’s why you may only connect a climate computer if the system is mounted 2.70 m from the ground or higher. If this is not the case, you can install bird mesh in front of the system. If a system has been automated, for example with a remote control or climate computer, we recommend installing a windbreak mesh in front of the revolving reel for the sake of safety. This helps reduce the risk of accidents. Go to the webpage for this system with extra windbreak net.
Fabric: wide range of colours per windbreak factor
May absolutely no rain or wind penetrate the windbreak net? Or do you prefer a more breathable fabric? We weld everything completely to order in our factory, allowing us to combine various types of windbreak mesh and tarpaulin. We strive to find the best solution for every project and application!
Our windbreak nets are available in multiple colours per windbreak factor, all fire retardant (flammability class M2).
